Mission Statement

Who We Are

Our Mission is to follow in the footsteps of Jesus by feeding, clothing, and caring for the homeless, hungry, or lonely. In improving the lives of the neediest among us and helping them to become self-reliant, we improve the lives of all.

For I was hungry, and you game me food. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in; I was naked and you clothed me and visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.

About Us

Serving the Homeless

For our homeless guests, many of whom live in the woods, we give free provisions such as backpacks sleeping bags, tents, grab-and-go food, winter wear  like hats, gloves, socks, and hand warmers.

Since 2019

The Shepherd's Office serves as the lighthouse in the Delmarva area for the people who have lost their way in the dark storms of life. Every Friday night after dinner, the Shepherd's Office offers a Bible Study where all are welcome.

[Director] Jim Martin is working hard to make a difference in individual lives. He bridges the gap between the people who need help and the people who want to help. He gets right in that space and makes connections. "

Serving All God's Children

Every day we read about veterans living on the street, senior citizens struggling to pay for groceries, families dependent on school systems for meals, and other hungry and/or homeless individuals who simply can't make ends meet.

Saving People

No Person Left Behind

The Shepherd's Office works to improve the lives of veterans, citizens who are struggling, families dependent on your generosity, and all who are in need. We keep onsite a free "store" where donated clothing is giving to anyone in need free of charge.. We call it a "yard sale" but do not charge for anything.

Feed Homeless People

Drop off your contribution

All donations are appreciated.  Whether you are offering food, money, clothing, or a charitable donation of a boat or car, know your gift is appreciated and will be used to benefit local homeless people.

A hand up for People

We do not have employees so your donation will not be used to line the pockets of a rich CEO.  All of the members here, at The Shepherd's Office,  are unpaid volunteers. Our expenses are rent on the building, utilities, and incidentals.

We need clothing, food, money, and volunteers! Anything and everything is appreciated.

Know your donation will benefit real people who need a hand-up, not a hand-out,
